9. How do I apply for financial aid?
There are several types of financial aid, including scholarships, grants, loans and student employment. The need and qualifications for aid are established when your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is evaluated by the Office of Student Finance, which will do everything it can to make Hilbert affordable for you. About 87 percent of Hilbert students qualify for different types of financial aid. Contact the student finance office or call 716-649-7900 to learn more.

10. How do I transfer to Hilbert?
Credits earned at another college may be applied to degree-granting programs at Hilbert. College transcripts must be sent to the Office of Admissions prior to following any other admissions procedures. If current financial transcripts are available, send them to Hilbert to assist in the determination of eligibility for aid. To ease your transfer even more, special articulation agreements have been established between Hilbert and numerous public and private colleges. Visit Transfer Articulation Agreements for a complete list.

11. What is Hilbert's transfer guarantee?
If you possess an associate's degree from one of our articulation colleges and are continuing in the same field of study at Hilbert, you are assured of completing a four-year degree in two years of full-time study.* Specific courses will be recognized so you won't have to repeat any courses. You may even receive a Transfer Articulation Scholarship if you attend full-time.

A few agreements with certain proprietary colleges may require extra semesters in certain disciplines. In these cases, scholarship assistance is extended for full-time study.
