Adult First-Time College Students

Welcome to Hilbert College!

As an adult student attending college for the first time, you are not alone on this journey. You may hesitate when selecting a college because of a feeling you will have nothing in common with traditional-age undergraduate students. Yet, more than one-third of those attending Hilbert are adult students.

Hilbert's classes offer a unique mix of traditional-age, adult and, at times, even senior-age students from our Elder Scholars Program. This adds to the classroom dynamic and the overall educational value. Our evening offerings, and support and tutoring services are ideal for adults that work or have families. And personal faculty advisement allows you to move at your own educational pace.
