Human services practitioners make a difference in people's lives. The field of human services is a broadly defined one with a unique approach to meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base, focusing on prevention as well as remediation of problems, and maintaining a commitment to improving the overall quality of life for the people we assist. Hilbert human services students learn from professors who are both scholars and practitioners. Our curriculum teaches you how to work with people of all ages who have a wide variety of social, emotional and economic difficulties. The extensive internship program offered to human services students provides our graduates with practical, applied experiences. Hilbert's unique program will help you develop as a professional who can make a difference in people's lives and in the community.
