Liberal Studies Minors

History Minor (American)
To pursue an American history minor, you must be in your sophomore year and have written permission from the department chairperson of your major and the liberal studies chairperson. A grade of C or better in all courses for the minor must be achieved.

HI 103Nineteenth Century America
HI 104Twentieth Century America

You must also achieve a grade of C or better in four of the following courses, including two at the upper division level:

To complete a history minor, you must achieve a grade of C or better in the following courses:

You must also achieve a grade of C or better in four of the following courses, including two at the upper division level:

Philosophy Minor
To complete a philosophy minor, you must achieve a grade of C or better in three upper-level philosophy courses plus PH 303 - Introduction to Critical Thinking.

You must also achieve a grade of C or better in one of the following:
PH 200Environmental Ethics
PH 205Business Ethics
PH/RS 218Moral Issues in Contemporary Society

And one of the following:
PH/HI 305The Making of the Modern Mind I
PH/HI 306The Making of the Modern Mind II
PH/HI 315Medieval Thoughts, Ideas and History
PH/HI 320Thoughts and Ideas of the Renaissance

In addition, one of the following:
PH/PS 310The Politics of Utopia
PH/PS 330Conflict and Cooperation
PH/PS 336Justice

Political Science Minor
To complete a political science minor, you must achieve a grade of C or better in three of the following:

Plus, you must achieve a grade of C or better in three of the following:
