Political Science Chairperson's Welcome

Students are sometimes under the impression that political science is only concerned with elections or faraway debates in the halls of Washington or Albany. Many people have become cynical and have adopted an attitude that "politics doesn't affect me." Nothing could be farther from the truth. For better or worse, almost every minute of our day is affected in some way by political decisions and Hilbert's Political Science Program will teach students how and why that is.

Besides helping students gain this in-depth insight, the program also offers a variety of interesting courses and excellent professors who prepare students for an exciting and satisfying career within the realm of political science.
