Psychology Minor

To pursue a psychology minor, you must be in your sophomore year and have written permission from the chairperson of your major and the chairperson of the psychology department. A grade of C or better in all courses for the minor must be achieved.

PSY 101Introduction to Psychology
PSY 102Topics in Psychology
PSY 430History of Psychology

Also, you must complete with a grade of C or better one of the following:

PSY 312Cognitive Psychology
PSY 322Learning Psychology
PSY 342Sensation and Perception

Plus, one upper division PSY elective or PSY 240 and one of the following:

PSY 304Abnormal Psychology
PSY 314Theories of Personality
PSY 412Psychological Tests and Measurement
PSY 424Clinical Psychology: Theory and Practice

In addition, one of the following:

PSY 201Psychology of Child Development
PSY 202Psychology of Adult Development and Aging
PSY 203Adolescence
