To pursue a psychology minor, you must be in your sophomore year and have written permission from the chairperson of your major and the chairperson of the psychology department. A grade of C or better in all courses for the minor must be achieved.

| PSY 430 | History of Psychology |
Also, you must complete with a grade of C or better one of the following:
| PSY 312 | Cognitive Psychology |
| PSY 322 | Learning Psychology |
| PSY 342 | Sensation and Perception |
Plus, one upper division PSY elective or PSY 240 and one of the following:
| PSY 304 | Abnormal Psychology |
| PSY 314 | Theories of Personality |
| PSY 412 | Psychological Tests and Measurement |
| PSY 424 | Clinical Psychology: Theory and Practice |
In addition, one of the following:
| PSY 201 | Psychology of Child Development |
| PSY 202 | Psychology of Adult Development and Aging |
| PSY 203 | Adolescence |
