Collaboration. Mentorship. Exploration.
What is an Internship?
To further develop what you learn in the classroom, two field placement/internship experiences will provide hands-on experience in different environments in the rehabilitation services field. Internship placements include state agencies, independent living centers, rehabilitation facilities, drug and alcohol rehabilitation units, schools, public social service agencies, and community integration agencies.
Internships take place either during the fall or spring semester and you'll receive academic credit for your efforts. This is your chance to make contributions to an organization and to demonstrate your potential value as a full-time employee after graduation.
