Job Summary: The Director of Admissions is responsible for the supervision, coordination and management of all aspects relating to the college’s recruitment and admissions practices for Hilbert’s undergraduate and graduate programs. The director collaborates with the Vice President for Enrollment Management on recruiting strategy and then executes and manages all recruiting activity. He/she is responsible for updating content and project coordination relative to recruitment collateral, including advertising. The director is the primary spokesperson at recruiting events held on campus and will also participate in many off campus recruiting events. He/she is a member of the marketing leadership team. The director is expected to collaborate extensively and encourage cross training with the offices of student financial services and student records. The director is also visible in committees and groups throughout the campus and community.
Requirements/Qualifications: Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills; ability to communicate effectively in large and small groups; ability to set priorities and work within an allocated budget; strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and college wide data system. Attention to detail; strong leadership qualities and decision-making skills; able to establish and maintain positive relationships; effective supervisory skills; familiarity with all campus services, policies and regulations. Participation in social media; high energy, positive attitude, team player, 5+ years of recruiting experience in a college environment with progressive responsibility; minimum of three years of professional staff supervisory experience; experience with CRM applications; valid driver’s license. Master’s Degree in Higher Education, MBA, or a related field of study preferred.
