Center for Creative Media
After completing only one course, the DMAC student has full access to the equipment in Hilbert College's Center for Creative Media. The Center has three High Definition video editing suites, a seven station iMac computer lab, and a dedicated Audio edit suit. Available are professional quality digital video recorders and digital cameras, both digital and cd based audio recorders, tripods, light kits, butterfly, and a Stedicam system. All of the equipment is available for overnight checkout by DMAC students. The Center for Creative Media is solely dedicated to DMAC students and is accessible at all hours by request. The Digital Media Lab hosts 4 Mac Pros with dual LCD displays. Software includes Adobe Production Suite Premium (CS4), Logic Pro, and Final Cut Pro. The iMac Lab supports video editing, graphic design and photography. It has 7 17" iMacs, as well as 2 Imacs with 24" displays, all hosting Adobe Creative Suite Premium (CS4), Final Cut Express and the latest versions of iWork and iLife.

The Hilbert Digital Media and Communication Studies Program provides students with both the academic knowledge and practical experience to pursue a variety of careers within the ever-growing and dynamic area of communication. Students are not only given the necessary foundational and theoretical knowledge through a set of core courses, but they are also able to gain hands-on experience through a variety of internship opportunities and capstone courses.
