Hilbert Golf Tournament to Support Student Scholarships

HAMBURG, N.Y. – Golf and other activities into the evening will be featured at the 22nd annual Hilbert College Scholarship Golf Tournament being held June 18 at Wanakah Country Club at 5161 Lake Shore Road, Hamburg.

The tournament will begin with practice and registration at 11 a.m., followed by lunch on the club’s outdoor patio. A 12:30 p.m. shotgun start will begin the afternoon of golfing. A cocktail reception and dinner will close out the day.
 
Gift baskets will be raffled and various prizes will be awarded for longest drive and low gross score. Golfers also will compete for closest to the pin prizes on several par-3 holes.
 
Buffalo resident Deborah DiMatteo, Hilbert trustee, is serving as chairperson of this year’s tournament.
 
Tee sponsorship opportunities are available (full field of golfers has been reached). All golf tournament proceeds will benefit Hilbert student scholarships.
