HAMBURG, NY- The Hilbert College men’s basketball team started their season with a big 69-56 exhibition win over the University of  Guelph  November 3. Dan McFarland, CJ Hodge and Anthony Hodge led the Hawks with strong offensive showings while Isaac Bushey and Trevor Stark played solid games at both ends of the floor.

It was a nice way to start the ball rolling on the 2012-2013 season. Prior to the 3pm game, fourteen of the men's basketball alumni strutted their stuff on the main court and re-lived the memories of wearing royal and white.

The men’s team opens their regular season schedule on Thursday, November 15 against SUNY Fredonia (8:00pm) in the first round of the three-team Hilbert College Tip-Off Classic.  Fredonia is set to play St. John Fisher November 16 (7 pm) then the Hawks square-off against Fisher on November 17 at 1pm.
