A paralegal educator for more than 25 years, Edson’s expertise focuses on curriculum and program development and internships to provide experiential learning in the paralegal profession. She has extensive experience in legal ethics and legal research and strategies including use of the Internet and writing skills for the profession. Edson, a volunteer mediator for the family courts of Erie and Niagara counties can discuss custody and visitation mediation and community dispute resolution. She’s presented at numerous national and regional professional conferences and been authored in various paralegal publications as well as been a reviewer for several major legal publishers. Edson has also been a contributor to model syllabi published by the American Association for Paralegal Education, including topics on legal ethics family law and alternative dispute resolution.
