BRADFORD, PA: Junior guard Cody Troutman (South Dayton, NY/ JCC) recorded a team high, and individual season high, 27 points, shooting 6 of 13 from behind the arc, and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Troutman was a nuisance on both ends of the floor tallying more steals (3) than Pitt-Bradford’s entire team (1). Freshman guard Dan McFarland (Lancaster, NY/St. Mary’s) continued his stellar play scoring 20 points and shooting 8-12 from the floor. Despite outstanding individual performances, the Hawks came up just short to Bradford, 80-86.
The loss drops Hilbert’s record to (2-14) and (1-10) in AMCC action.
First half play saw a competitive battle between the AMCC opponents. Six lead changes would put Pitt Bradford in front, 43-41 after 20 minutes on the hardwood. Troutman led the Hawks with 13 points after the first period of play.
