Cresson, PA – Magan Campbell’s opening three-point field goal was Hilbert’s only lead for the day, as the Hawks went on to suffer a 92-37 loss at Mount Aloysius College January 15. The Mounties rode a fifty-percent shooting spree into the locker room (up 50-10) and continued to roll in the second half. Hilbert (0-8, 1-13) struggled to find the bottom of the net all game finishing the afternoon shooting twenty eight-percent from the floor. Mount Aloysius (2-5, 4-9) had three players strike for 15 points apiece as all their players notched points in the scoring column.
Campbell (Buffalo, NY/Bennett) finished with 15 points while workhorse Julie Bossard (Arkport, NY/Canisteo-Greenwood) secured her sixth double-double this season with 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Hawks. Kaylee Keagy, Ali Maruca and Alexis Tellish tied Campbell for game high scoring honors with 15 apiece.
The Hawks host Pitt-Bradford Monday, January 17 with a 6 pm tip on the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
