Hawks Drop Two Matches In PA

WILKES, PA - Chelsea Reischuck finished the day with 11 kills and 27 digs in the Hilbert College women’s volleyball two- match loss at Wilkes University October 8. The Hawks started the day with a 3-0 loss to Scranton University before their 3-0 defeat to Wilkes University. With the non-conference losses, the Hawks drop to 4-11.
Hilbert challenged Scranton in the first two sets with scores of 25-21, 25-20 before the Royals took the wind out of the Hawks sails in the third set (25-12). Reischuck earned seven kills with 9 digs (3 blocks) while Jordan Botsford kept play alive with 11 digs. Shannon Memminger passed for 15 assists and 5 service aces.
Against Wilkes, Reischuck led the match (25-19, 25-21, 25-12) with 18 digs as Rachel Kwiatkowski drove in 6 kills. Memminger had 14 kills at 15 assists to finish the match.
The Hawks host Oswego State October 12 at 7 pm before they hit the road again for another non-conference tri-match at Grove City College with Thomas More University on October 15.
