IRVING, TX – Presentation College scored three runs in the fifth inning to break open a scoreless game and defeat the Hilbert College baseball team 8-0 on Wednesday. The Hawks’ Brian Wedmore (Depew, NY/Depew) (0-2) suffered his second loss of the season while going seven and two-thirds innings in defeat.
Hilbert (0-4) was paced by hits from Josh Cahall (Ripley, OH/Ripley) and Matt Schoepflin (Chaffee, NY/Holland) who both turned in solid performances on the day.
The Hawks and Saints (1-3) will go at it again tomorrow with the first pitch scheduled for 12:00 pm.
