Reinard named DIII News preseason All-American

BEAVERTON, OR – Hilbert College senior men’s basketball player Dallas Reinard (Smethport, PA/Smethport) has been named a preseason Honorable Mention All-American by DIII News, the monthly newsletter of Division III college men’s basketball.

Ranked as one of the nation’s top 25 players as a fifth team All-American last winter, Reinard was the 2007 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Year and received All-East Region honors. As a junior, the nation’s 16th leading scorer (22.4 ppg) led the Hawks to the semifinals of the AMCC Tournament before the college’s first ever appearance in the ECAC Tourney.

Hilbert will open the 2007-08 season at home on November 10th against Mohawk College of Canada in an exhibition game.
