Dorsheimer, Kozak Set School Records in NCAA Regionals

MT. MORRIS, N.Y. – Hilbert College runners Katy Dorsheimer (Frontier/Hamburg, NY) and Andy Kozak (St. Francis/Hamburg, NY) competed at Letchworth State Park in the 2003 NCAA Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships hosted Nov. 15 by SUNY Geneseo. They ran against athletes from more than 30 schools in the qualifier for this weekend’s NCAA Division III Championships in Hanover, Ind.
In the women’s 6,000 meter race, Dorsheimer finished in 99th place and established a new Hilbert record and personal best with a time of 25:50.
Kozak finished in 188th place in the men’s 8,000 meter race with time of 29:59. Kozak’s time also set a new personal best and school record.
