HC golfers place 11th at Behrend Invit.

FINDLEY LAKE, NY – The Hilbert College golf team placed 11th at the Penn State Behrend Invitational at Peek’n Peak golf course Thursday afternoon. The Hawks recorded a score of 345 and were one of 11 NCAA Division III programs competing on the day.
Westminster College placed first with a score of 295 while Gannon University’s Tom Phalin turned in the best score of the day after shooting a 69.
Hilbert was paced by Will Sporney (West Seneca, NY/Bishop Timon) who led the Hawks with a 79. Glen Ufland’s (Buffalo, NY/Bishop Timon) 85 was the next best score for the Hilbert on the day.
Hilbert returns to the links on Wednesday, September 28th against Medaille College at Glen Oaks Country Club in Amherst, NY.
