Hilbert Defeats D’Youville in Men's Golf

HAMBURG, NY – Hilbert College defeated host D’Youville College on Friday with a team score of 384. Junior Glenn Ufland (Buffalo, NY/Bishop Timon), led the visiting Hawks by shooting an 89 at Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg, NY. Sophomore Bill Sporney (West Seneca, NY/Bishop Timon) also came through with a 95 on the day.

D’Youville College was paced by Nick Cavarella who shot a match low, 86. The Spartans finished the day with a total score of 393.

The Hawks end their fall season with Coach Richard Walsh looking forward to an invitational at Penn State Behrend on April 12th, 2006 at 12:00pm.
