HC golfers stumble at UPB invitational

BRADFORD, PA – Joe Ribelli shot a 72 to place first and lead the Lake Erie College golf team to the team title at the University of Pitt-Bradford Fall Invitational on Saturday. The Hilbert College Hawks finished 13th in the 14 team event at Pine Acres Country Club.
Leading the way for the Hawks was sophomore Brian Rathke (Buffalo, NY/Bishop Timon) who shot an 82 on the day. Hilbert finished with a team score of 369 and edged out local foe D’Youville College (383) for the third time this season.
Hilbert will travel to Oswego Country Club on Monday for the Oswego State Invitational. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
