The Hilbert College men’s soccer team struggled to find the back of the net on Tuesday and fell to visiting Lake Erie College 3-0 in men’s NCAA division III soccer.
The loss drops the Hawk to 0-3 on the young season as they await North Eastern Athletic Conference foe D’Youville College on Saturday.
Hilbert goalie Tom Cone (Lincoln/Rapid City, SD) faced 22 shots while turning away 13 on a busy afternoon which saw the Hawks fail to score a goal for the first time this season.
