Men’s Soccer Team Loses to Lions

Hamburg, NY – The Hilbert College Hawks men’s soccer team fell 8-0 to Penn State-Altoona on Wednesday afternoon in NCAA Division III action.
The Lions were led by Andy Zechman, Ryan Zechman, and David Garcia, who scored two goals each.
Goalkeeper Marc Gaylor (Hinsdale Central/Hinsdale, NY) stayed busy, recording nine saves for the Hawks in the losing effort.
The loss drops the Hawks to 2-9 on the season as they prepare to face NEAC foe Cazenovia College Wildcats at home in the second half of a doubleheader on Sunday. The women’s soccer team will play the Lady Wildcats in the first game, starting at noon.
