HAMBURG, N.Y. – Medaille College dropped Hilbert College to 3-14 with a convincing 7-1 win on Friday in men’s NCAA Division III soccer.
The Hawks, playing in their last regular season home game, allowed a hat trick to Maverick forward Cory Cwiklinski while teammate Joel Walroth scored twice.
The lone Hilbert goal came from Chris Fassl (Kenmore West/Kenmore, NY) on an assist from Jacob Opala (West Seneca West/West Seneca, NY).
Hilbert keeper Marc Gaylor (Hinsdale/Hinsdale, NY) stopped 24 shots in a losing effort.
