BUFFALO, NY – The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team suffered another loss on Wednesday night, as they fell in straight sets, 30-11, 30-20, 30-21 to D’Youville College.  With the loss, the Hawks now stand at 1-8 on the season, and 1-8 in North Eastern Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) play.


Dave Guercio (Cheektowaga, NY/St. Mary’s) had his best game of the season, as he converted five of seven kill attempts.  Senior setter Tom Cone (Rapid City, SD/Lincoln) contributed 17 assists for the Hawks.


The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team continues its season on Saturday, February 19 at 7PM, as they take on Baptist Bible College.  Hilbert’s lone win on the season came against the Defenders on February 4.
