The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team fell to D’Youville College 3-0 (20-30, 28-30, 25-30) in a NECVA Western Division showdown, on Tuesday night (February 10, 2009). With the loss, the Hawks fall to 3-5 overall and 2-3 in NECVA West games.
Senior Robert Gerhard (Angola, NY/Lake Shore) led the Hawks’ attack with 16 Kills. Gerhard also recorded 9 digs. Freshman Vince Amico (Buffalo, NY/Timon) paced the Hawks with 24 assists. Sophomore Dan Wolfe (Rochester, NY/Irondequoit) chipped in with 7 Kills and 7 digs.
The Hawks return to action Saturday February 14, when Stevenson University travels to Western New York.
