The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team fell 3-0 (30-23, 30-17, 30-21) to the Milwaukee School of Engineering Tuesday evening (March 3, 2009). With the loss the Hawks fall to 3-11 on the season. Prior to the match, the Hawks honored their three seniors Robert Gerhard (Angola, NY/Lake Shore), Matt Nash (Troy, NY/Catholic Central) and Mark Smith (Palmerson North, New Zealand/Palmerson North).

Gerhard led the Hawks with nine kills and tied for the team-high five digs. Freshman Vincent Amico (Buffalo, NY/Timon St. Jude) dished out 13 set assists and also had five digs to go along with two aces.

The Hawks return to action March 4, at NECVA Western rival Nazareth College.
