Hilbert College’s Katy Dorsheimer (Frontier/Hamburg, NY) placed first on Friday afternoon to help the host Hawks to a dual meet win over D’Youville College and Medaille College in women’s NCAA Division III cross Country.
Dorsheimer hasn’t lost at home (4-0) since the women’s cross country team took shape last season and began competing at the NCAA level. Her winning time of 21:27 shattered her previous best mark of 22:53 in covering the 3.1 mile course.
Cheri White (Tonawanda/Tonawanda, NY), Alicia Mitchell (Traditional/Buffalo, NY), and Natalie Samuelson (Jamestown/Jamestown, NY) all placed in the top ten for the Hawks to help secure the win.
The Hawks will be in action next Saturday when they travel to Houghton College for an 11:00 AM meet.
