HC women’s XC team competes at Behrend Invit.

ERIE, PA – The Hilbert College women’s cross country team opened the 2005 season at the Behrend Lions Cross Country Invitational on Saturday in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Hawks were one of 14 teams competing in the women’s 5K race.
Mount Union College’s Jamie Musick was the overall winner with a time of 19:00 to help the Raiders to a third place team finish. Case Western Reserve University won the women’s meet as the Spartans placed five runners in the top 13.
Hilbert junior Susan Devlin (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) was the first Hawk to cross the finish line. Devlin’s time of 24:23 was good enough for 84th place as the Hawks finished in 13th place.
On Friday, September 23rd the Hawks will host D’Youville College and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a start time scheduled for 4:00 pm.
