Lady Hawks Knock Off Lake Erie College at Home

Jeanmarie Brady (Lakeshore/Derby NY) scored a pair of goals and Nicole DeVantier (Niagara Catholic/Lewiston, NY) chipped in with one to lead Hilbert College over Lake Erie College 3-0 in women’s NCAA division III soccer.

The win moves the Hawks to 1-1 on the young season as they await Friday’s home contest with North Eastern Athletic Conference rival, D’Youville College.

Shannon Bieniek (W. Seneca West/Orchard Park, NY) recorded two assists on the day and keepers Samantha Dexter (JFK/Cheektowaga, NY) and Wendy Brusso (Marion, Marion, NY) combined for the shutout for Hilbert.
