CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – Shannon Bieniek (West Seneca West/Orchard Park, NY) scored the game winning goal to lift the Hilbert College Lady Hawks to a 2-1 win over the Cazenovia College Wildcats Saturday afternoon. The win improves the Hawks to 7-9 overall and 4-2 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

Nicole Devantier (Niagara Catholic/Lewiston, NY) opened the scoring for Hilbert and keepers Wendy Brusso (Marion/Marion, NY) and Samantha Dexter (JFK/Cheektowaga, NY) combined for 15 saves on the day.

The Lady Hawks travel to D’Youville College on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. contest.
