AURORA, N.Y. – Shannon Bieniek (West Seneca West/Orchard Park, NY) and Nicole Devantier (Niagara Catholic/Lewiston, NY) scored two goals apiece to lead the Hilbert College women’s soccer team to a 6-1 NCAA Division III win over Wells College.
Janelle Maiorana (Immaculata/Derby, NY) and Jeanmarie Brady (Lakeshore/Derby, NY) also scored while Jessica Macri (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls, NY) picked up her team leading ninth and 10th assists of the season.
The Lady Hawks (10-9) (6-2) have won seven out of their last nine contests, including four straight on the road.
Hilbert hosts the 2003 North Eastern Athletic Conference Championships this weekend. The Hawks are slated as the number two seed and will face the number three seed Cazenovia College Wildcats at 3 p.m. The winner advances to Sunday’s 1 p.m. championship game.
