GREENSBURG, Pa. – Amanda Kotvas scored at 107:38 of the second overtime Saturday afternoon to lead the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg to a 1-0 win over visiting Hilbert College. The loss drops the Hilbert women’s soccer team to 1-5 on the season and 0-3 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.

The visiting Hawks managed only four shots through regulation, but were held together on defense by freshman goalie Jackie Seifert (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island), who recorded eight saves on the day.

The Hawks head across town for a 4 p.m. game Oct. 4 against D’Youville College. The host Spartans will be looking to even the score from a 3-0 loss to the Hawks back on Sept. 22.
