HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Frostburg State women’s soccer team scored six first half goals en route to a 7-0 win over Hilbert College Saturday in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play. The visiting Bobcats improve to 7-2-2 overall and 4-1 in the AMCC while the Hawks drop to 1-7-1 and 0-5 in the conference.


Danielle Carter and Erin Carraghan scored two goals each with Carraghan also picking up a pair of assists to lead the Frostburg offense. Hilbert keepers Jackie Seifert (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) and Wendy Brusso (Marion, NY/Marion) combined for 10 saves in a losing effort.


The Hawks return to action with an AMCC contest at 2 p.m. Oct. 12 at Lake Erie College.
