HAMBURG, NY – Visiting Brockport State built on a 1-0 half-time lead and scored three more times in the second-half en route to a 4-0 win over the Hilbert College women’s soccer team Saturday.
The Hawks struggled to get shots off on Golden Eagles keeper Liz Durfee who recorded four saves for the shutout win. 25 different players saw action for the Golden Eagles who improved to 1-2-1 on the season. Hilbert keeper Kelly Goodwin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) recorded nine saves in a losing effort as the Hawks dropped to 1-2 on the year.
The Hilbert College women’s soccer team travels to Alfred University on Tuesday, September 13th for a 4:00 pm contest.
