HAMBURG, NY – Penn State Behrend’s Nikki Frisbee broke a 0-0 tie 50 seconds into overtime to give the visiting Behrend Lions a 1-0 win over the Hilbert College Hawks in NCAA Division III women’s soccer play.

Hilbert keeper Kelly Goodwin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) was strong throughout the afternoon making 13 saves and keeping the Hawks chances alive. A tough Behrend Lions defense allowed the Hawks only one shot on goal as Penn State Behrend’s Dara Nielson earned the shutout win in goal.

The loss drops the Hawks to 0-2 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) and 3-5 overall. Hilbert is off until Saturday, October 1st when they play host to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
