BRADFORD, PA – The Hilbert College women’s soccer team ran their unbeaten streak to four games on Wednesday with a 1-1 tie at the University of Pitt-Bradford. The visiting Hawks and host Panthers (3-9-2, 1-5-1) ended regulation at 1-1 with neither team being able to score in two 10 minute overtime periods.

Hilbert’s Lucy Zver (Jasper, NY/Jasper-Troupsburg) scored her fifth goal of the year with just one minute left to play off an assist from Katrina Galofaro (Dunkirk, NY/Silver Creek) to knot the score at 1-1. Zver’s goal added to her team lead in points, now having racked up 13 points in her freshman campaign.

With neither team scoring in the overtimes, the game ended in a 1-1 tie to move the Hawks record to 5-7-2 overall and 1-4-2 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) play on the year. Freshman keeper Kelly Goodwin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) fought through an injury to turn away 11 shots throughout the rain soaked game.

Hilbert hits the road to face Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference foe Penn State Altoona on Saturday, October 22 at 4:00 PM.
