HAMBURG, NY – Hilbert College women’s soccer player Tricia Knight (Arcade, NY/Pioneer) recorded her 12th goal of the season last week to move her goals per game average to 1.2 per game. Knight currently ranks 20th nationally among NCAA Division III players through October 15th.
Teammate Amber Balseca (Newfane, NY/Newfane) recorded seven points in Saturday’s 9-0 win over Mount Aloysius College to set a new program high for points in a game. The sophomore midfielder scored two goals and recorded three assists to erase the previous high of six points held by six different players.
The Hawks (6-4-2, 2-2-2) return to action today at conference foe Penn State Behrend. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 pm in Erie, PA.
