Hamburg, N.Y.Hilbert College softball player Meghan Gollaher (Spencerport/Rochester, NY) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 21, 2004.


Gollaher, a freshman, recorded six wins and 28 strikeouts in 56 innings pitched during the Hawks trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. last week. She also picked up seven hits, including five doubles, and four runs batted in.


The softball team (6-3) will return to action Saturday when they travel to Utica for a doubleheader against SUNYIT.
