Hawks Take A Pair From Bay Path

The Hilbert College softball team earned a sweep of Bay Path College this afternoon (March 18, 2009) at the Fast Pitch Dreams Tournament in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The pair of wins improves the Hawk's record to 3-3.
In the first game, junior Carrie Sisson (Elma, NY/Mt. Mercy) earned the victory on the mound, pitching all seven innings.
Freshman Cortney Hohl (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) was 2-4 in the game, with a home run and 3 RBIs.
The Hawks were victorious 7-4
In the second game, Hohl was on the mound for the Hawks and defeated Bay Path in five innings of work.
Junior Rachel Parker (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) was 4-4 at the plate with two doubles and an RBI. Junior Melissa Radder (Cheektowaga, NY/Sacred Heart) was 2-3 and had four RBIs.
Hilbert defeated Bay Path 11-3.
The Hawks will play single games on Thursday March 19, against Baptist Bible and Bay Path College.
