The Hilbert College softball team fell in a doubleheader to Frostburg State University on April 11, 2009. The Bobcats bested the Hawks 6-0 and 10-0. The Hawks record falls to 4-17 overall and 0-6 in AMCC play.
In game 1, the Bobcats gave up just four Hawk hits, and blanked the Hawks 6-0. Sarah Collins (Milroy, PA/Indian Valley) led the Hawks at the plate, going 2-3.
In game 2, Collins and senior Kelly Goodwin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) recorded the only two Hilbert Hits.
The Hawks are back in action April 13 at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
