Lady Hawks Volleyball Falls to NEAC Foe Keuka

Visiting Keuka College topped Hilbert College 30-20, 30-13, and 30 -20 Wednesday night in women’s NCAA Division III volleyball. The loss drops the Lady Hawks to 1-6 on the season as they prepare to play in the Plattsburgh State Tournament this weekend.
Lisa Piccone (Westfield/Westfield, NY) led Hilbert with eight kills while teammate Amanda Ellis (Pioneer/Arcade, NY) contributed 11 assists, five kills, and five digs.
The Hawks stand at 0-2 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference while the Storm improve to 5-7 overall and 2-0 in the NEAC.
Hilbert College, located in suburban Hamburg, N.Y., south of Buffalo, is a private four-year college founded in 1957 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition.
