Hilbert Women’s Volleyball Season Ends at NEAC Tourney

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women’s volleyball team ended their season on Saturday with a 21-30, 21-30, and 22-30 loss to Cazenovia College in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament at D’Youville College.
Hilbert received four kills from Lisa Piccone (Westfield/Westfield, NY), while teammate Lynn Workman (Newfane/Newfane, NY) recorded 15 digs. Shannon Farrell (Cleveland Hill/Cheektowaga, NY) added five aces and seven digs in a losing effort.
Piccone received second team All-NEAC honors for the 2003 season. She led Hilbert with 93 kills and 32 aces for the year. The Lady Hawks end the season with a disappointing 1-18 record.
