Hawks Swept By Lions

The Hilbert College women’s volleyball team played host to Penn State Behrend, in an AMCC match-up, Wednesday evening. The Hawks fell to the Lions by a score of 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-18).
Offensively, the Hawks were led by sophomore Erica Page (Angola, NY/Lake Shore) who tallied 3 kills in the loss. Page also recorded 8 digs in a solid two way evening. Senior Melissa Kick (Blasdell, NY/Mt. Mercy) notched 9 digs to anchor the Hilbert defense.
Win the loss, the Hawks fall to 5-7 on the season and 1-2 in AMCC play. The Hawks return to the hard-court Oct. 4, at 11 a.m., in a tri-match with AMCC foe Frostburg State and Stevenson University.
