College Director Presented Public Relations Awards

HAMBURG, N.Y. – Paula Witherell, Hilbert College’s director of public relations, has received three 2012 Excalibur Awards from the Public Relations Society of America Buffalo Niagara Chapter.

Witherell received silver awards for Hilbert’s media relations program and in the special purpose publications category for the college’s Christmas card, and also a bronze award for Hilbert Weekly, the institution’s faculty and staff newsletter.
A past Excalibur Awards winner, she is a member of PRSA and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
Witherell earned a graduate certificate in public relations strategic management and a bachelor’s degree in communications/broadcasting, both from Buffalo State College.
She resides in West Seneca.
