GREENSBURG, PA – Hilbert College suffered a 4-0 set-back to Pitt-Greensburg in women’s soccer September 29. The Hawks dropped their second AMCC game falling to 0-2-1 in AMCC play.
The Bobcats Tiffani Downey gave the hosts a 2-0 led by intermission and opened the second half with her third score, earning her first hat trick of the season. Greensburg struck their final score at 58:24 improving to 4-3-3 overall.
Hilbert struggled to generate offense, getting outshot 15-6. Mary Mabon and Robbi Bailey led the Hawks charge with two attempts each.
Ariana Scheidt was credited with one save for Hilbert suffering her second loss in net (1-2).
The Hawks (2-7-1) host Franciscan University October 6 with a 1pm kick.
