Job Summary: Hilbert College is seeking candidates for a full time faculty position (Open Rank). The successful candidate will be able to teach courses in the following areas: computer crime, computer and network security, information assurance/security and computer forensics. Responsibilities also include working with the college’s Information Technology Dept. to oversee the program’s dedicated computer lab, coordinating the program’s internship program, and teaching in the program’s capstone senior seminar. Faculty appointments are for a ten-month contract period and the normal teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. Student advisement, participation on college committees, and representing the program as Admissions liaison are required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Requirements/Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Education or related discipline and prior teaching or training experience including expertise in computer operations, networking, computer forensics and investigations related to computer crimes and economic crimes. Desired professional certifications include CCFE, CFCE, CFE, or CISSP. Other highly desirable skills would include knowledge of databases and basic computer programming.
