About Mission Integration

The Hilbert Office of Mission Integration facilitates an awareness, understanding and support of the college’s Catholic Franciscan mission, core values and tradition among its students, faculty, administrators, staff and trustees. Through programs, activities and services, mission integration connects the college’s Franciscan heritage in ways that aid and deepen our college community’s understanding and appreciation of Hilbert’s legacy.

Meet the Director
Barbara Bonanno
Director of Mission Integration

Barbara, who previously served as director of the Hilbert McGrath Library, was named director of mission integration in 2004. A Hilbert Franciscan pilgrim, she had been with the college’s library since 1990 where she was a librarian and later promoted to library director. She also teaches French as an adjunct instructor at Hilbert. A member of the Character Council of Hamburg Faith-Based Committee, Barbara received a master’s degree in information and library studies from the University at Buffalo and a bachelor’s degree in French from D’Youville College.
