BS in Global Business Management

Today’s global economy is a complex, highly integrated and multifaceted environment that demands professionals with broad-based knowledge and specific skills.

Hilbert’s Bachelor of Science degree in global business management (GBM) prepares students for this exciting and expanding field by blending a solid core of liberal arts courses with a strong foundation in the business principles required of those doing business on the world’s stage.

You’ll study global business operations, communication and marketing principles, human resources management tools and how they apply in international settings. You’ll dive into the world of global economics, finance and accounting, as well as some of the legal issues involved in working with other economies and cultures.

Global business management majors can expect to find jobs with businesses and multinational corporations, nongovernment organizations (NGOs), multilateral banks and government agencies.

The GBM major also provides solid preparation for graduate school, and many of our undergraduate courses fulfill graduate-level requirements in the MBA program at St. Bonaventure University, which offers graduate programs on the Hilbert campus.
