Clubs

Lambda Epsilon Chi

Lambda Epsilon Chi is an honor society sponsored by the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAFPE) for paralegal students. It recognizes students who have demonstrated superior academic performance in a paralegal program at an institution that is an AAFPE member in good standing.

Graduating bachelor-level students are nominated by the chairperson and assistant chairperson of paralegal studies and must be in the top 20 percent of the class for the academic year. Students are inducted into the Hilbert chapter at the spring honors reception and are recognized in the commencement program.

Professional Organizations

Paralegal students are encouraged to become student members of the Western New York Paralegal Association. Student members may participate in continuing education programs, social events and volunteer work sponsored by the association.

The local chapter is affiliated with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. WNYPA membership information is available online www.wnyparalegals.org.
